Day 12

Postby Mrsabrown79 » Tue Jul 03, 2012 8:57 pm

Today has been a good day. I'm starting to feel the power of prayer work in my life and in my spirit. This is my 2nd day doing my miracle grow chart and It helps me stay focus on what's important! I was such a people pleaser...always wanting to do something to see a smile on someones face or do whatever to keep peace. But I've learned I was trying harder to please people more than please God. I can't make everyone happy, I'm not God! And I'm just now getting that! I feel like a huge light bulb clicked on in my head...lol. I still have very deep concerns for the people in my life and just in the world, but I look at it differently now. I love the fact that I have a big heart and I love to give, but now I love even more giving myself to God. I know he will never forsake or leave me, EVER! That's a good feeling! I still love people and I will continue to be a people person, but I will work harder on pleasing God FIRST! *bravo*

I am always praying for you all and hope your doing the same! *hug*

God Bless

What beautiful words and a beautiful spirit. *hug*
I am certain God is well pleased. :)

It's really fun when you begin to do things for people because God said to, instead of because you felt the need to. It's amazing to listen to when He says go and you go. It's difficult when He says don't give or don't go help. But if you watch, you'll see He works those things out as well. He's amazing like that! It's like a dance. A beautiful dance with the Savior.

You sound like me! Man is impossible to please, but God is pleased with our love and devotion to him. :)
