Day 1

Postby Mrsabrown79 » Wed Jun 20, 2012 2:24 pm

Wow....I've always believed that God works in mysterious ways and me finding this christian counseling proves that! I was not online looking for this, I literally typed an incorrect word and here I am. This is happening at a very important time in my life. I was raised in church and have been in church all my life up until about 3yrs ago. I have 3 boys under the age of 5 so I used my kids as an excuse to stay home on Sundays. I put in my head that if I have to constantly keep getting up taking the boys out to quiet them down, or use the restroom, etc...then I might as well stay home since I'm not really able to hear the message. Then the obvious happened. As I became more distant to church, I started feeling comfortable not going to church. Then as I got comfortable, I started hanging out with friends I knew were not good for me. That's when it all started going down hill for me! I became a different person. I lost my patience I had with my boys....so that mean everything was frustrating to me, even my husband. What's funny is I knew I had changed but at the time I didn't care. I thought I was having a happy life, drinking, smoking, going out, doing things I thought was fun. But I thank God I am his child!! As long as I can remember I always felt convicted after doing something I knew was wrong or not pleasing to God. So while I was out having what I thought a good time and doing what I thought was fun...I was being convicted. Each day that went by I felt worse and worse instead of better and better.
I am soooo happy God has led me to this counseling! I was so gone and lost....but it sure feels good to be back home! I pray that will use me in ways like never before! I'm so excited and just happy to be delivered!!!! Looking forward to day 2!

*hug5*

Happy to have you here.

God surely wants our attention. He is a loving father and likes to be visited and talked with and thanked. And we need all the help we can get to remember to do those things and to keep being fed and loved on.

God loves you very much - it is so nice when he lets you know like he did.

I'm so glad you found this site and the counseling.
Hugs,
Dema

Thank You!!! It's a blessing to be able to chat and share with other believers outside of church! I just finished my day 2 and I'm so excited, happy, and just ready to get back what the devil took from me, JOY! I believe and I have faith that each day will get better and better. I really do feel and believe that God loves me, and it feels good! :)

God Bless
