Day 2
Good lesson today, especially on Renewing the Mind, and I set up a "Miracle Grow" Chart. I'm good at creating the charts, the hard part is developing the discipline to complete the daily goals. I'm feeling OK today, just a bit tired, as usual. I hope to include healthier eating and exercise in my strategy for a healthier lifestyle. I had a nice lunch with a neighbor today, following a short Bible study. I pray God will strengthen and anoint me to continue with this 14 day program and to complete my daily goals, including fellowshiping on this site, as I tend to be very introverted and isolated. I'm thankful for my husband who loves me despite all my flaws and CDs, that he joined me for church on Sunday (as he's not a confessing Christian), and for a recent visit with my granddaughter and her parents (she's 15 months old). Thank you Lord for loving me; please fill me with the fullness of the knowledge of Your love and deliver me from insecurity and fear and selfishness and laziness. Let Your kingdom reign in my heart, mind and body and let Your will be done in my life and in my relationships. And please touch mightily all Oasis members to lift up, anoint and empower us to know and walk in Your love and in Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen

Re: Day 2
Hello Debbie. Lovely picture of you and your granddaughter you posted.
Sounds like a lot of good things happening in your life and you are trying to focus on them instead of the bad stuff.
Remember with the charts that is you find yourself not making the grade perhaps you put your goals to high and need to take smaller steps to reach those goals. Progress not perfection. Love you sister. Praying for you. God is watching over you, lovingly.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
