Hello....

I have been off of here for a couple of days due to be very very busy. So sorry. I know I am supposed to be doing this daily. Today I am on step 4. I haven't read it yet I will do that when I get a little time this afternoon but I wanted to bring everyone that may be following my post up to date. I can definitely tell you guys have been praying. Amazing things have been happening.

First all of my needs at home have been met and covered for the year my husband will be away! What a mighty God we serve! Oh my goodness I can't even tell you what a miracle this is! Second the church has been so good to me during this time. They have been helping me financially and emotionally. Last night at church God gave me a word that started with the phrase God wants me to know I am not just a number! OH MY GOODNESS! I love it when stuff like that happens! Nobody at my church has any idea at all about this journal but God does! Amazing. Just wanted to share the good stuff.

Here are somethings that very very much still need prayer. Hubby still needs to come up with the money for the program. $750.oo. Most people are not willing to help due to the fact that he was in a program before and quit. But if we don't come up with the money he will have to leave. I believe God will provide. Please prophetically release this provision with me from whomever God is planning on using.

Second, I just found out my daughter has an eating disorder. I talked to my pastor about it and he gave me some great concrete wisdom about how I can deal with this issue and I am taking his advice. Pray that God will just destroy this. I have had this in the past and I know it can be overcome.

I was wondering why don't you share the issues with your church? It sounds like they are very supportive and probably would love to walk beside you with these things. All these things. Possibly they may be the avenue God wants to use to help supply the money you need. But they can't if they don't know there's a need. Just a thought.
Also I would love to hear what the pastor suggested on the eating disorder.

Hey The church won't help with the money for Josh's program because they helped him once last year to pay the fee and he left without completing the program I am trying not to let that thought stick in my head. It kind of solidifies the thought I already have that the church does not believe in me. They actually helped me out financially but it makes me kind of sad for my husband.

He is trying not to let it bother him but he too feels like the church gave up on him. I hope I never financial help for a drug problem or a drug problem for that matter. I really don't mean to diss the church though, they are doing everything they can and trying to obey God. They feel as if they are trying to be good stewards of everyone's tithe money and since they already helped him once they do not feel it would be stewarding well to do it again.

He was so destructive by the time he finally went to rehab he made a lot of enemies, myself included, but I'm not going to give up on him. It is very difficult now though because the drugs are out of his system and in his mind everything is back to normal but boy do I have a lot of images to let go of in mine before I can be at a place where I can be back to normal in this relationship....seeing him as a Godly man and dreaming about the future. I know in the Spirit he is in right standing with God already because he asked God to forgive him and he is walking closely with Him again, but I am a human person and need some time.

The Pastor advised that I allow my daughter to make more choices and make activities and family time about her and her wants and needs (within reason). I agree with this since anorexia is mostly about control and feeling as if you have none in your life. It has helped already.

I'm sorry to hear that your husband was not able to stay in the program, due to finances, however, I do understand the financial challenges faced by most, these days. It is extremely challenging at best. But, we cannot lose hope. Hold onto The Lord with everything you have.

Your pastor gave you some blessed advice in regards to your daughter. My prayers continue for you, your husband and your daughter. May God's blessed and perfect will be done.

Actually....he IS still in the program! Yah they haven't made him leave yet. As long as he "works it" they are going to let him stay there Another miracle

You're not alone in this. God is working on your side to align things into His will.

I understand about the images you have to forgive. Perhaps there's even some fear that he will become that person again. It's hard to trust once you've been hurt. Especially if he has failed before. But wow you are doing amazing by sticking in there with him through all this.
