Entry 5

Postby KrysyK » Tue Feb 14, 2012 5:19 am

I am guilty of not enthusiastically following through with these steps. When I first came here, I was desperate- I was sad & crying and I found great refuge in God's word. Now I feel much better and I feel as if I am not in this as wholeheartedly. I am not going to stop even though things are looking up, I just wish now to rid myself of the guilt. My (ex)relationship seems to be headed on the right path and I happy that is, even though I dont think its the reason I am not as enthusiastic. I love the Lord and I love his word, when I was really down I turned to his word for every little answer. I kept praying and praying, now that I feel a little better I dont seem to be doing the same. I guess I am selfish as suggested in the lesson for stepping stone 5. I am going to try my best to regain that enthusiasm, God has done a lot of healing in such a short time- I can only imagine what great healing is yet to come. My prayer today is that He keeps me faithful.

Hi,
I am glad things are looking better. God forgives but you have to forgive yourself.
The last statement you made pertaining that you hope God will help keep you faithful; He gives us this choice each day for us to choose to be faithful.
When things are going well, most will stray a little from God thinking we don't need Him as much. Be aware of the things to come.
It can be hard to live as he wants us to live. This i know.
Thanks for sharing and may you stay faithful.

So very true bro ... Amen.

I have been following this member's sharings as I found them to be honest and candid, truly seeking to heal.

Oft times, that is what it takes to SEE.

James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I agree 100% about forgiving ourselves.

If we repent and God forgives us ... Who are we not to?

Luv ya
Jesus is coming ... Get your soul prepared.
