Forgiveness and Gratefulness to God

Postby Angel of Hope » Thu Dec 08, 2011 11:33 pm

*Pray* I want to give praise to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I made it through the doctor visit. I was nervous but God and His Holy Spirit has been with me all the way today. I found out that the cancer on my tongue is in early stage.. stage 2.. I will be facing alot. but with God's help I know I will make it. I am suppose to have surgery in January sometime.. let u all know when.. they will be removing the knot on tongue and my lypn node on left side of throat. will be having reconstruction surgery on tongue etc. I have to have some scans made and go to dentist to check my teeth out for any infections. The doctors will be calling me Monday to til me what days I will go. I am still asking for all your prayers for all I am going to be going through. I know God is in control and I thank him for this much that He has done today.. The new steps program was on falling down, about sinning and getting back up and keep going on with the Lord. I have failed many times.. I have carried guilt and shame for these sins along time. I have asked God to forgive and give me the strength to overcome these sins and bad habits. I felt like sometimes that God wouldn't forgive for failing soo much. Now I see I that others and Biblical heroes also failed alot. God's Grace forgave them and they picked up theirselves and carried on serving the Lord. I have to be honest in my relationship with God and let him know I am really trying to be a better person and let him help me overcome all things in my life. I want to say I have been learning alot truths in these program steps. I thank you for your prayers.. I pray God will give me strength to get through this health problem, He has always been a Great God, I am the one at fault for not living like God's word the Bible teaches. I have always loved God and had faith in him. I just got off the right path when soo many things were going so bad in my life. Thank you God for allowing me this second chance to really show my love and to get back on the right path again. God Bless You All, Love You All, *hug* *Halo*

Dear Angel, that is good news and having a plan is a relief, too! Help yourself heal faster from the trauma of the surgery and treatment by doing three things,
1). Rest in God. He knows the future. He's already got it all worked out. He loves you!
2) Eat the best you ever have from now until the surgery. Veggies and fruits, should be a large portion of your diet. If you were an athlete getting ready for a game or contest, you would train. So, get your body ready for this challenge by filling it full of the best nutrients you can. stay away from processed foods as much as possible. Lots of fresh, pure water!
3) And, forgive yourself! God already did it when He sent Jesus to die on the cross. If we keep hold of your sins we are saying we know better than He does!

Let us know when the surgery date is so we can pray!
