My Comforter

Postby Angel of Hope » Wed Dec 07, 2011 10:05 pm

*AngelYellow* Tonight I learned more about the Holy Spirit. I was awe struck to know we have a comforter and friend ( The Holy Spirit) who lives within us if we ask Him too. I knew of the Holy Spirit, but not alot. I know that He teaches all the truths we need to know from God. I have always had alot problems understanding some of the Old Testament. If I had let the Holy Spirit guide and teach me by listening and talking these verses over I would have understood sooo much better...It is so Great that we are Never Alone.. I have felt soo much alone since my Mom and Stepfather and a Sister died. My Mom was a friend to me and we always shared alot. Mom had me when she had just turned 17 years old. She felt more like a sister to me than a mom. We celebrated our birthdays together.. Hers feb 3rd Mine feb 4th.. Mom died January 29th 2008 and my stepfather died 3 months later April 25th 2008. My sister died April 2010. The pain and grief was devastating. I have tried to get over these deaths, and know they are in a better place at rest with God. But the pain is still in my heart.. especially during the Holidays and the Birthdays. I really need a Comforter to talk to and someone to help me through all the sadness and problems in my life. I am facing cancer now. I am praying God will be there for me and His Comforter will help me through this and my family members also. Tomorrow I go to Chapel Hill Hospital to see my doctor for consulation. I am praying God helps me with this.. to know He is in Control of all this and in control of my life. My family has been through alot deaths over the years and alot problems. I have had soo many health problems in my life and the pain I have had to deal with over the years physically and mentally. I know with ALL my heart God has been there with me through alot.. how do I know this? I wouldnt be here right now if not for my Lord helping and holding me up through the sadness and pain. I am NOT GOING TO GIVE UP NOW!!! When the going keeps getting rougher, My God is that much more able and stronger to help me.We have an AWESOME GOD. I try to tell others not to give up and let God have the problems and all the painful things they are going through in life. He is there people.. all we have to do is BELIEVE AND ASK FOR HIS HELP AND TRUST HIM! He knows all about us and He will not forsake us, even if we forsake Him. Keep on keeping on with the Lord at your side. I still want to thank everyone here on Christianity Oasis for their love, kindness, and prayers. The programs and classes here are wonderful. Love to All! *hug*
