Step 11

Postby Faithandlove » Fri Nov 11, 2011 3:14 pm

In this step, surrendering to God, I have surrendered. I have given my all to God and in return have watched Him work wonders in my life and in the life of those around me.

But here lately, satan has been trying to tell me that 'giving my all to God makes me look like a fool and a doormat'. He's really been trying to push that thought because I have been growing closer to God and he's scared. He's trying to make me think that surrendering to God hasn't helped me in all these years, because of my suffering and trials. But it's because of my suffering and trials, that I have grown closer to God.

Like Job said, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him".

Amen Sis, its only through the trials and hardphips are we taught about patience..and love and what is good....

My son asked me the other day, why do we have to go through so much? Without the harder times, we wouldnt learn to trust the Lord to see us through them. We wouldnt learn to be patient and still while we wait. Ill be a fool any day if thats what Christ asks of me cuz He is the only way to make it through this life...and into the next. He suffered so very much more than I ever have...and He did it for me. He is so good. Thank You, Lord Jesus.

God bless you, sis. Keep leaning on Him..and trusting in Him. He wont steer you wrong.

Love in Jesus,
momo
