Step nine

This one is an easy one for me because I have already made some lifestyle changes. Not to say that I could not use some more but I have made several positive changes in the past couple months. I still have more ahead.

I want to talk about my day today. As you may know I am going thru some tough times with my seperation from my wife. Today started out as another bad day. I have been losing hope and at my breaking point. Today I lost the last thing I had my home. It was moving day so things were tough. To make matters worse, I had the kids this morning so I had to put on a front for them. This made for an exhausing day. I was making it thru the day when I just had enough. I decided that I was not going to kill myseld moving and spend some time with the kids. I did not have to be out today this was just the day I decided to move. So i stopped moving and played football and basketball with my son. I pushed my daughter in a car and watched tv with her. I was really enjoying the day. It was getting close to the time for me to take the kids back home so I asked my wife if she had any plans for the kids this evening. She said yes and I asked her if she was thinking about the some event i was, in which she was. What surprised me was she said I could take them and she would meet us there. The event was a family night at the farm sponsored by one of the leaders of our church. The kids had a blast. the petted the differant animals mad smores and played. My wife arrived and surprised me again. She actually particapated with me and the kids instead of just takeing the kids and asking me to leave. We did not talk much just enjoyed the time with the kids. We did do some small talk about her work and some people we know all very positive. I WAS GOOD AND DID NOT BRING UP ANY OF OUR ISSUES. Then they had a service in the barn which we did as a family. What started out as one of my toughest days turned out to be one of my best. God knew exactly how far to push me then He brought me back and filled my cup. I am so full of hope right now. today was truely a blessing. I praise Him for this day. My spirit has been lifted and I am ready for the next phase. I truely feel the Spirit working on me. I am so excited to see His work on our marrige. I know there is still a long way to go but i am renewed for the next step.

Thank you Jesus for everything you are doing in our lives.

Good night and God bless.
