Dennis when you first came here you said...
I believe the origin of what it is that is bothering me is my failure to establish and maintain an intimate connection with God.

This step is where this problem can come to it's end. Because Prayer is the communication with God. Not just praying, praying in the spirit. And not just praying in the spirit, but listening. Not just listening but inviting Him into every part of your day. Not once, but often. Through out the day. I hope you are taking these steps with God. Don't make it just a chore you must complete in 14 days. Take the time to invite Him into it and pray through out the study. Asking Him questions and listening. If you do it will be time well spent. Time invested in the most important relationship of your life! It will even change your life!

This is a race. Run it as if determined to win. It's not the time for a stroll in the park. It's time to get real with the Lord and decide if we will follow our own desires or His, daily. The bible heeds lots of warning to those who are luke warm and complacent. Strive with caution that you are not one of them. So that you do not be as one of those who are spit out.
After all He is worthy of our time, effort, praise and sacrifice. He suffered and died for you.

*Cross* It is my prayer that during this short time we have on earth that you choose to die to self to live for Him and Him alone, above anyone else, including your self.

God bless and keep you brother. :)
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
