Forgiving Others Should Be...

Postby Lostfornow » Mon Apr 18, 2011 8:43 pm

Day four poses a hardship of mine, throughout my life i have never really been a forgiver, I find it very difficult to forgive others. This actually is one of my many many flaws, but I dont really understand why because I fully understand the concept of how I judge so shall I be judge. I am just taking these steps day by day and hoping that this will help me grow with the Lord and help me to overcome my Giants. Thanks for reading and God Bless.

Don't forget you have a very loving, kind, and gentle heavenly Father who is and will continue to help you to forgive. He understands our down fall and how we struggle with this. Keep talking to Him about it. Ask Him to soften your heart towards those you hold unforgiveness towards, including yourself. :) He is faithful and will help.

God loves you sooooooo much!!!! And so do I!. *hug5*
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

I have to share a story with you. Yesterday morning someone said something very ugly to me....and I was so angry with what they said...I mean I stewed on it for like hours...and I found myself just getting angrier and angrier...then I took my dogs to the kennel...which is out in the country...and on my way back to the car...I hear God say...you cannot change her actions...but you can change your reaction to her actions...so let it go and move forward...or continue to stew and be in a yucky place...it's your choice...

I then realized my joy was being sucked away by the enemy because he was bringing all this negativeness to me...once I was able to SEE what was happening I was able to begin forgiving and letting go...and today...I have my joy back :)

I pray you will be able to let go and let God so you too can have joy.

Take care and God Bless
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
