Jeff David's Journal Day Two

Postby Guest » Fri Jan 21, 2011 5:30 pm

Well today I slipped a little -I got angry and frustrated with public assistance folks and their never ending demand for "more documents".
Even though I know it's all part of the process.

It's funny how I can be on fire one day and bummed out the next

Actually it's not funny. I have been reborn for too long to fall like that.
I mean I used to lead the praise and worship team! I used to run a bible study! I used to run a computer ministry donating computers to the poor!

*help* How did I fall so far so fast, Lord!?

Well obviously I'm going through great challenges right now -more
difficult than any I ever faced but still...

I need to get into the Word so I better stop now. God Bless everyone!

Hi Jeff, I'm pretty new here, also. You had said one day you're up and one day you're down. I feel that's part of the process, too.
We're human, we stumble, we fall. But our Father is right there to pick us up! I feel God's presence more after I've stumbled because He pick me up! Don't be hard on yourself. Believe me, I know all about challenges. They come and go so quickly, but do the blessings!! Praise God!

Jeff I know how frustrating it can be. Just when you think the paperwork is ended they hand you more forms. And so on and so forth till you see forms in your sleep. Sometimes I think it's the way they weed out anyone except those who are desperate for help. lol

I do the yo yo thing to. Up one day down the next. I can nearly expect if I'm on fire spiritually one night to expect to fall big time the next day. Seems the higher the flight the deeper the fall too. I don't have any advice except to be watchful as we have an enemy that is prowling around. Yeah you know that one. ;)

I was just thinking how much you've blessed me since you got here just a few days ago. I logged in and here you are. :) Feeling really down myself today and thinking of you and your overcoming spirit has brought me a smile. Glad you found your way here. Glad our Father God brought you here.

Be blessed. May your heart be filled with His peace and joy abundantly. *hug* Love ya bro.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
