This forum is for those who are 18 years of age or older. This forum is a sanctuary for those who are experiencing trials and tribulation and seek words of wisdom, comfort and TRUTH from fellow Christians who have experienced similar trials and tribulation and have overcome them. Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. I feel like I'm in a pit... and every time I start to climb out and see the light, I just slip back down into the pit... and I'm tired of it.

But I think (and hope) that this program will help me.

HI Hrw *Wave* Glad to hear my story encouraged you.

God is in the diamond making business. He takes lives that are burned out chunks of coal and makes something beautiful out of them. I know he can do the same for you. He already is. You see every time we fall back into that pit, we learn something from it. When we crawl back out and stand up again we learn even more. Those are not down falls, just learning experiences. A friend once told me they were learning curves. Take each fall, learn what you can, hop back up and move on. Taking with you only the knowledge for next time. Leave the guilt and other cruddy feelings behind. We weren't designed to carry our guilt. His grace is sufficient for us. :)

God bless and keep you. *hug* Anxious to see what gifts day 3 brings you.

Hi Hrw716 and welcome to Oasis. Wanted to tell ya that you are hearing the Lord's voice. He led you here..and you heard His calling. There are times we dont think we are hearing from Him, but know that He is that whisper..that still peaceful voice that says there is hope. Im so happy He led you here. There is healing among these steps through the power of the Holy Spirit.

As for the pit you are in...you are so not alone. Its a dark, lonely, and scary place to be, but know that He will not leave you. Keep seeking Him and His will and one of these days you will look back and see where He was in it all...right beside you..carrying you and leading you. As Lizzie posted in your first post, read His word. There are so many times I could do NOTHING but read His word to bring peace to my spirit..and listen to music that glorifies Him...through praise and singing, He will lift your spirit.

God bless you and again, welcome to Oasis. You arent alone in this. Praying for you.

in Jesus,
luv momo *Halo*
