the more you put off the works of the flesh, the weaker the "old man" becomes. the more you put on the "new man" the more godly you will become.
when we deny ourselves the pleasures of the flesh and build up our spirit man, the more we become like Christ,
isn't that what it's all about?
remember, you can't be a disciple without discipline.
