today i was supposed to meet with one of the members of my class for biblical counseling certification.
because of my background, i tend to shy away from establishing any type relationship beyond the superficial.
i have tried and i have tremendously hurt by people who said they loved me. i began to lock the world out and let only the smallest number of ppl possible in. it is a very lonely place, not to have anyone who you can be yourself with. my husband fell in love with what he thought was a wild woman, who would do anything and anyone for his pleasure.
when i ran back to the arms of Christ, i found myself lacking a support structure. work prevents sunday services, and most ppl don't care about the laws of GOD, so keeping them is not on the agenda.
when my schedule changed, my best girlfriend(who was a guy) was torn form my presence, and i knew it was all for a reason.
well, the young lady didn't show, but i did. i believe that God was testing my determination to be the woman HE wants me to be. everything that could have happened to keep me from going did. but i went anyway. i even called tina, to ensure our meeting. when she returned my call, 20 mins later, i was almost done with supper. the miraculous thing is that when i got in the car to go home, the sermon on the radion was about having godly friendships. i knew then that GOD was wanting to enlarge the place of my habitation in that area.

Hey huelsing Keep hanging in there. I know God is showing you new things because He wants to strengthen you in areas that you can be of service to Him...and this includes friendships. I know you've had a hard time making friends...because of the past...but now you have a new life with new promises in Jesus...and He wants to bless you with good Godly friends.
