What is the scripture about looking forward, not back? I think I will post it in bold letters on each door of my house. Just a reminder that no matter how much family dysfunction I have or have had, I must look forward, one step at a time. Thank you Father for the inspiration of KMS (keep mouth shut) You are my saving grace and my only peace.

Keeping your eyes on the Lord and the things of today...not living in the past...but in the here and now...where He resides. Hey sis...I know what verse you are talking about...but I can't think of it now. Hopefully someone will come along shortly with the knowledge of this verse for you.

woohoo! i love this chapter...read Ephesians, too, sis. awesome, awesome!

Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Keep goin, sis...He is sooo good!

Amen !!!

Philippians 3:12-14 ... Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

We must choose to leave the past in the past.

It does NOT define us any longer.

We are REBORN in Christ.

John 3:3 ... Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.

So focus not on that which is HISTORY, but rather HIS STORY.

Luv ya
