Day One-My wife and I together

Today my wife and I began the 14 day program, together! While we had both read this before separately, we have now decided to go through the study next to one another. It's been very effective for me because I see things the way I see them, but she sees things in her way, too. She gives a fresh viewpoint.

Like today, for example. We read Matthew 18:19-20, and it said that if we agree on any thing that Jesus is there in our midst and we can ask for anything and it will be given by our Father in Heaven. When I read that I think, "Wow, how awesome is that? Look at the power that we have, and Jesus is right there with us. It gives me goosebumps!" But when I told my lovely wife this, she said it gives her goosebumps because it made her think of all the needs in this world and how little we pray for them with the power that we have available. Wasn't that awesome? Such a tender heart she has.

Well, here we stand; stepping stone #1. Looking forward to the next tomorrow. I don't know that we have a "problem" like the study says, but we do have a yearning to get closer to Him, and I think this is a great way to accomplish that; problem or not.

GBU,
Darrin AND Meredith

Hello Darrin and Meredith. My heart smiles to see the two of you here together. Growing in the Lord as a Christian marriage does. Oh how God loves the both of you.

I find it so interesting how you two are sharing thoughts on this together as well, so you will have two fresh view points that will show ways to look at God and His plans for you.

I look forward to the next day with you.

luv ya both lots *hug*

Hello Darrin and Meredith! welcome!

I just wanted to add that i think this is great..the two of you doing this together...as ONE. Its so awesome the way the Lord puts two people together who compliment, help, encourage, and show each other a different way of looking at things...all for one common goal. Have no doubt that by doing this together, the Lord will use each step to strengthen you both individually in your walks, but also as the one flesh you are.

Looking forward to what He has in store for you both on this journey. He will show you things you hadnt seen before.

God bless you on this walk, and know He didnt lead you here by accident.

praying with you both.

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*
