I am new to this site and I have never done anything like this before.I thought I would give it a try and see what happens. I have been bouncing in and out of my walk with God and I don't want to be like that anymore. You see I have some addictions and some sexual situations that I struggle with. I never talked to anyone about them but I know I can't keep living like this. I don't want to be cold or lukewarm I want to be on fire for the Lord. My bigest problem is that I get upset and I end up turning back to my old ways. Then I feel guilty and come back to God. I want to have a stronger will power and start living and doing the things God wants me to do. My hope and prayer is that this program will help me understand more and help me forgive myself.

hello bluebird, welcome to oasis, this is a safe place to talk , i'm so glad you took the plunge right in there, and started this programme,there are many who have been through what you have said, so know that you can come up and stay up on a level ground again.... and i know that the lord wants that as well...He has been watching your journey, not in a condemning way, but in a loving Father to child way..


He sees that you want joy and peace restored to you...His joy that only He can give...because any other joy is only temporary...

as you go through this...you find that healing will come, and in that healing comes forgiveness of yourself

so hang in there..if you need a partner to talk to if the way gets a bit overwhelming..we are all here for you, just call out ok?

So your struggling huh? Wow, so many of us can relate. This walk we call life is never easy, and the temptations that head our direction are often difficult to fight on our own. God knew this and sent His son Jesus to redeem us from our falls. Jesus loves you very much, and He wants to help you heal. He wants to be there with you when temptation heads your direction...so that He can help you fight the good fight.

You are now on the pathway to getting the help you seek. There is healing in these steps, and that is what you deserve to heal you and your relationship with God.
