Sure scootles. What are you struggling with in day 2.

It's about your mind being like a garden.
The weeds are things that have been growing that are not the truth.
Say things that you have been told by your parents while growing up.
A spouse or ex that planted some words about you that are hurtful.
Or even whispers from the enemy that you may be believing and allowing to take root and grow in your mind.

Everything that goes in your mind is a seed. You can choose to allow that seed to stay there, take root and grow or you can choose to pick it out and throw it away. Same with the seeds that have been allowed to grow that needed to be tossed out. They can be pulled up and tossed out.

One by one when a thought comes to you. Examine it. Is it the truth. Is it Godly. Or is is harmful, something from the world or the enemy. If it's from God, let it grow, care for it, water it and fertilize it. You'll learn more about watering and fertilizing later. Right now just get in the habit of paying attention to what goes in and what it's made of. Is it made of truth or is it a lie.

If it's from the world, pull it out and throw it away. Replacing that spot with the truth.

:)

Hey scootles your on the step of weeds and seeds. Well sometimes the thoughts will try to replant themselves, that's when you have to keep pulling those weeds. How do you do this, as soon as a thought pops into your head that is a weed, replace it immediately with a seed of joy for the Lord...such as turning on Christian music, reading some scriptures in the Bible, praying and talking to Jesus. There are many ways. Allow him to help you remove your weeds. Look around at all the weeds that are in your garden the emotions that causes these weeds and begin to work on those one by one....step by step.

Keep doing the steps, your doing great. Praying for ya.

luv ya

Oh yes they will keep trying to sneak back.
Sometimes you pull and the second later they are back.
Like they have taken root, grown, blossomed and went to seed and the seeds are caught in the breeze as you pull the weed. The wind blows all the seeds from that one weed right back into your garden.

It does get easier. It really does.
When you first start pulling it is the hardest.

Soon you will be so good at this your garden will be almost weed free and you'll see a seed come in and toss it right back out before it hits the soil.

Give yourself some time to practice pulling weeds from your beautiful garden God has given you to tend to. One day you'll have the most lovely flowers growing in place of all them ugly weeds. ;)

Don't give up! Gods got some great plans for you. Keep moving forward. *angelbounce*
