Hi blue....Weocome back
FIrst I would like to start by saying no embarassment for starting again. We all have to at some time or another. It is a battlefield out there..But with Christ at our side we can make it.
I would recommend that you pray and ask Christ to put those people in your life with whom He would have you have a relaionship with. Sometimes it is the company we hang around that keeps us in trouble
I look forward to seeing your progress as you once again seek His faca and His answers.
Love ya brother
Even in the hardest of times...He is there holding our hand

We are so privileged to have a merciful and forgiving God. What Jesus did for us is AWSOME. How could anyone ever say that God dose not care? I know that sometimes a situation happens that make us question God but I also know that He is in control and that He knows what He is doing. I would rather put my trust and faith in God then myself. It is a wonderful feeling to know that after all I have done I am forgiven.

As far as forgiving others I am going to have to ponder on that one. I say I forgive but am I just saying that. This is why I am going through these steps again. The first time I went through the steps I never really thought about if I truly forgave those who I feel have done me wrong. I do know one thing, I serve an awsome and true God and without Him I would be nothing.

hey bro blue..wow...i know where you are coming from. Forgiveness is tough until we realize how much the Lord has forgiven us for. Bro, when you are faced with unforgiveness for something someone has done to you..ask yourself...is my pride going to hinder me from loving them the way the Lord loves me? Am I going to let these bitter feelings steal away my joy and keep me trapped in this snare and even worse, keep them placed in a place below me in my own heart? And then..there is forgiving yourself..God has already done that, and since He has, no amount of beating ourselves up is going to undo what we have done, but Christ's blood covers it all. Standing with you in this bro. Keep on keeping on.

in Jesus,
love momo

Well, I am at step eight and I have to tell ya this step is one I need to read over and over again. I let those negitive thoughts in to much. That is not the way to be. I hate it when thoughts like, "give it up, God will not help you" or "it is to late for you", come into my head. Or how about the thoughts like "everyone is against me" or "they don't want me here because they know about my past". ALL LIES FROM THE DEVIL. Sometimes though I think some of the feelings about not being wanted are true because of the way some people are. (they are not living for God). There is also the part about how when reading a book and our minds get side tracked, that happens to me more then I care for. Lot of times when I read I have to be in a quite place and not have any interruptions. All though that dose not always work. Any way, I am still pressing in and running the race. Things are well and I feel very blessed to have such wonderful Father.

God Bless

Luv in Christ

Pssst hey bluebird...I have a secret to share...today I finished the counseling steps Again...for the second time...and I came here and see you are doing them again as well.

Step 8 is a very important step for us. I too struggle with stinking thinking...and I've really had to do some weed pulling this time around.

One thing I've started doing that is helping me a lot is I have a forgiveness list I keep...and anytime I come across someone who offends me even in the tiniest way, I'm writing it on this list and letting it go...it's sort of like my way of laying it down...and if I have the thought of picking it back up...I'm going back and saying we've addressed this already.

Something else I've been doing is to try my hardest to catch the lies of the enemy....yep you know the ones...your not any good...noone likes you...and the list could go on...but in reality none of that is true...it's just the enemy trying to break us down...to get us to quit...but we are soldiers...and we aren't about to quit.

II Timothy 2:3-4
3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Being a good soldier of Jesus Christ is the key to overcoming the enemy's attempts to take us down.

Praying for ya.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
