Day 7 and 8 of 14

Postby ang147 » Mon May 18, 2009 2:32 pm

I did day 7 and day 8 on different days. I just have been reflecting and i seem to have forgotten to write down my thoughts. I have been trying to remove all bad thoughts and start thinking positive. I am still going back and weeding my path. Today on day 8 i learned about the enemy of our soul basically waits around until im ready to do good. The verse that was along those lines was Romans 7:15-25. Paul made perfect sense. So as it says when i am sitting down wondering why i fussed or why i did what i did. I can think back to Paul's response and praying to God. I am slowly.. very slowly learning to control my thoughts and not worry about ALL my problems. I know even when i sign the divorce papers I will not be fighting. God will look after me and be with me every step of the way. I continue to pray about all my problems.

Wow ang look at you sis. Your seeing now that God can take care of anything if you will allow Him to do so. He is gonna bless you greatly as you do this.

Weeding your garden is a daily task. We have to do this for our lifetime here, so as to keep those bad thoughts away, and in return we receive joy from the Lord.

I'm so proud of you ang. Keeping moving through the steps.

You have made a great realization that God is going to take care of you and help you through the rough times. I used to always want God there during the rough times to help me through them, but when the times were good I wasn't giving praise to him.

I still battle with turning to God with everything, but I know it is all a work in progress. Controlling my thoughts can be even more challenging, but I just pray and have faith. I know God doesn't make mistakes and we all just have to open our hearts and listen to where he wants us to be.

Keep weeding your path and you will have a beautiful garden.
