Male / Female Relationships

Postby Mackenaw » Sat Aug 04, 2007 2:10 pm

Hello everyone, God bless you. I've noticed quite a few of entries regarding male / female relationships. While each specific relationship is different, the foundation of all should be the same -- Jesus. God wants to be first and foremost in each of our lives. He is a jealous God -- He says so. So, if we put anyone else first -- before God -- there will be problems. So what happens if a relationship exists, and the foundation was not built on God? -- like a marriage, what do we do then? Do we divorce? NO! We seek God and ask Him, how?

God is Creator. He made man from dirt. He can surely rebuild a marriage, but the marriage and the participants must be given to Him, The Creator, to rebuild. The secret is to seek Him first, to get to know Him first, and His ways, and His love for you.

This may seem like it would take too much time, but no -- God is God, He is the True Multi-Tasker. He can do All, He is All. If we seek Him, Who is Love, and get to know Him, we also get to know Love. Love fulfills. Our needs are fulfilled in the provisions of Love, but we must know Love (Jesus) first.

God bless you all,
Sister Mack
