Day 7

Postby linster » Fri Oct 26, 2012 7:23 pm

I am sorry to say that I am a little self conscious and preoccupied right now but it is important to keep moving forward. My head is full of negative stuff that I need to work through but it can be very heavy at times. I never expected to get back to a better way of life instantaneously because unfortunately I feel allot of pain and as step 7 says my head is full of allot of lies. I am better at forgiving than I am at deciphering the lies but I'll keep working at it. I am going to church Sunday and I am both excited and nervous about it, I will try to get some info about adult Sunday school classes or groups because that is always a good importunity to meet people and connect. I really need others to pray for me right now. Thank you, David

Praying David.

Be patient with yourself as you remove those lies. Ask Him for help. I'm so thankful He is there for you and eager to help you remove the lies and grasp the truth.

I got to the point I would say out loud, "That's a Lie!" and "The truth is...."

I hope this helps. God bless and keep you and tend to your needs. He loves you! He's for you not against you. :)

linster, A word for you - “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent". Praying for you Jimf

Thanks again everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I haven't posted for a couple days because we are right in the path of the latest hurricane and there has been allot of prep for the storm. You'll hear from me soon though.
