Day 10 - Prayer

Postby Vkmama » Mon May 03, 2010 6:36 am

Before my divorce, it seemed I had God's right ear. I was a devoted Christian, and even received a prayer request spiritually and saw the outcome - it was like a miracle. Then I divorced and got away from my devotions. Six months later my dad died in an accident. I spent 8 months on my knees where I hadn't been in a while. Not that I ever gave up my faith, on the contrary, I just became distracted. God got my attention. All things are in His time, that's true, I've witnessed it. Three years later, here I am, asking Him to forgive me and help me to get back under His almighty, righteous, and loving arms. I can't believe still that I had so much and stepped away from it because I believed God loved me so much that I could sin against Him and could just walk back into His grace with no more than a request for forgiveness. I've learned my lesson. Time to make my prayer room.

Amen sis...prayer is our connection to God...staying close to Him in prayer makes our needs and wants obtainable. Prayer is our way to show God we love Him...to thank Him for His blessings and for His salvation...to be near Him when we are alone...Prayer is powerful! I'm so glad to see you making your prayer room. God is smiling I know.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

He knew where you were the whole time, sister. We step away in rebellion, in selfishness...get lost and caught in the snares of the world..but we arent lost to Him. He was just waiting for this day..for you to come back. He knew you would. He knows how you think and why you think the things you do...and understands. Take hold of His forgiveness..and His unconditional love for you...through prayer with Him, being real and honest....that is the safe place, sis..to bear your heart to Him. That is the real.

God bless you, vk

in Jesus,

Reminds me of this verse :)

Luke 15:4
What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

God loves you enough to go looking for you when you stray. *hug*
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
