This forum is a sanctuary for those who are experiencing trials and tribulation and seek words of wisdom, comfort and TRUTH from fellow Christians who have experienced similar trials and tribulation and have overcome them. Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much ...

Day 1

Postby Bloodstone » Tue Apr 13, 2010 5:44 pm

When I came here and saw this, I thought, now I know in my heart that God led me here. I read step one and it was the most awesome thing I ever read. I told the Lord as I read it, that's what I need to do, and a little light came on in my heart. Then as I read, it doesnt matter how many people have tried to help you and failed, well thats me too. Most walk away, but I do try.
The next part gets harder for me. I do believe in every word God says in the bible but the part "confess your faults one to another" is very hard for me to do. I love to help people but when it comes to me talking to a friend about my faults, I always, always get burned. Then I read the Lord wants the real me back, now that touched my heart. Because I know He does. And I want to be all God wants me to be with all my heart. I want on that spiritual path that leads me back to our Holy Father.
I must admit I can't wait to go on this journey but at the same time, it scares me to death.
Well I hope I did this right and If anyone does read this, please be praying for me to be all that God wants me to be.
God bless you all for this site and what you do for the Lord.

Hello Bloodstone, welcome to the counseling program. From reading what you have shared on step 1, you obviously are seeking something...yet I'm not sure what. Step 1 is to share the reasons you are here...and I noticed you stated many have tried to help and walk away...there is ONE who will never walk away...He will never leave you nor forsake you...He wants to help you with whatever it is you are carrying around.

The most important part of these steps is to be honest...with yourself...and to bring to Light what is now hidden in darkness. We will not judge you...and we are here to encourage you.

Praying for you on this journey.

Take care and God Bless
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

hey Bloodstone..welcome!

i just wanted to add that God already sees the you He created you to be...He's just waiting to show you what He sees in you. As you dig through these things that are so easy to hide behind, you will see the gifts He's given you and the purpose He has always had for you. He planned YOU, ya know? so, come out, come out. Every one of us here is the same..we are all sinners saved by Grace, alone. Not one thing you have done is too much for God to handle, or too much for the blood of Jesus to cover.

looking forward to walking this path with you...and am praying for you, too!

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*

Hello bloodstone,
welcome to Oasis!

So you had alot of people walk out on you hu? Yup been there too! But as mlg has stated He never leaves us! Hallelujah, thank u Lord for that FACT!

Iron sharpens Iron, so when we confess us faults to one another we then release our guilt and let HIs Spirit within teach us from where we missed the mark to a better place, a feeling of freedom from our past actions and learning to deal with the situation in a better way if it happens again. We are constatnly learning from one another and HIs Spirit within us means He is with us. The other persons who u are telling should be a non judgemental believer. Confessing our faults is never easy but once done we feel so much better, why is that? Because it brings healing and light onto the situation instead of building up the guilt and other emotions we feel inside.

God bless
And cant wait to see where HE leads you here!
