Hello,

I'm a married Christian woman, not very young, but not very old.

Hoping to connect and possibly make some new friends.

God Bless!

I find that there are many voices. Not just God's. And that with God's voice, that I will have peace and just know. I have been fooled in the past by the other voices. Not necessarily evil. But thoughts that seem loud and clear, but there is no peace with them. There is perhaps urgency. It has taken decades to learn how to not be mislead by the other voices.

Where do the other voices originate? I don't know. My own desires no doubt contribute. Perhaps my own wishes are the loudest other voice. What is a hunch? Hunches are good most of the time but can be horrible.

You should not be treated this way. Your husband sounds like he is mentally ill.

I was in a marriage with a mentally ill husband. And I was being destroyed. I realized one day that I would never make him unhappy. But if I stayed in the marriage, I would become useless and permanently unhappy. How would God be most glorified? By me being able to serve. And my ex was preventing me from being of use.

I had a hard time because C did do kind things on occasion. Sometimes he was perceptive. He wasn't evil and mean every minute of the day. But I learned that he is a Narcissist. His own daughter told me. And that there was no way that it was going to change. He went to counseling and the counselor immediately wanted to see me.

There are people who did not develop emotionally as children. And they realize it to some extent. So they don't have the feelings that others have, but they observe and learn how to manipulate the feelings of others. They learn how to make a person happy in one moment and then devastate them in the next moment. They can set up the perfect evening and make it hell. The things they do may not be much in and of themselves. A child was talking at a table near us in a restaurant, so my husband went to the restroom and never came back. I finally called him and he said that if I was finished with dessert to get him a to go box and he would take me home. I paid for dinner. There is cognitive dissonance in being treated this way. One time is confusing. Intermittent, frequent incidents are crazy making. Peacefully cooking and a raging man coming in and blaming me for being Christian when children die in Africa is crazy making.

Living with someone else's mental illness, when they are hurting you, makes no sense. If you aren't helping him, and he is hurting you, how does this make sense?

Dema!
I've been trying to send you a couple pm's tonight. They don't seem like they went through. Please let me know if you got them or not. Everything I send tonight is ending up in my 'outbox' and not showing up in my 'sent messages' folder, like they did previously.
???
Or am I doing something wrong? *help*
Thanks!

Hello Faithfulladybug :)

God bless you, and welcome to Christianity Oasis.

I just wanted to let you know that your PMs to Dema probably went through just fine, and the PMs will be listed in your Outbox until which time she actually opens the PMs, then they will move from your Outbox to your Sent Box. Also, Dema is one of God's early bird servants, so she'll probably respond to you in the morning.

God bless and keep you, Faithfulladybug :)
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

Hello to all sisters who suffered with their husbands,

Well, it is painful for you to bear it, i understand, but remember the end of the world is already here, Jesus is coming soon, so the devil will try by all means to seduce the persons who are faithful with god, that is written in bible but the one who keeps firm and steady through trials will in the end receive the crown of victory.

When i say trials, believe me it is will be very hard moments, jesus says when he will come, will there be still faith among the faithfuls? Anyway, consider Jesus Christ to be your only real unique support, man will abandon you, never jesus will do that!

Hello Dlias Felixia,

Thank you for stopping by and leaving a message on my thread. I enjoyed reading it.

I agree. We are getting close and that the evil one is super busy irking us all.

It's said that good hearts will harden in the end times. I refuse to harden! Hope all good hearts feel the same. Praise the Lord!

Wishing you a Blessed evening. *Cross*

Imagine the beautiful crown on our head given by Jesus Christ, living immortal and without corruption, in heaven of love, peace, no more evil, no more sins, no more tears or suffering, i think that victory is the ideal gift for us to be crowned by our Lord.

Really, keep looking at the cross, then you will find your problems to be smaller, tiny compared to the reward and grace given by Jesus Christ.

Salutations from
