my spirit feels like it's on vacation

It's been a little over a year now that I have felt "alone" and set apart from God. I feel like I'm getting ready for a growth spurt and God is screaming in my ear to get back in my groove since my lay off last year. I have felt depressed for so long now. Can anyone identify with the loneliness that comes with that spiritual separation time? I haven't felt like reading or studying my Bible either...
