Hello everyone! I'm new here.

Just wanted to introduce myself. So much is going on in my life that I'm not even sure where to begin. The basics...I'm 38 and married. We have been together for just over 20 yrs and have three boys. Steven is 18, almost 19. Christopher is 13 and has Aspergers Syndrome, a form of Autism. Matthew, aka..monkey, is 9.
The past 8 months have been the most difficult of my/our lives! God has moved on our behalf many times. Satan had a hold of both of us. He IS the ultimate deceiver!!! We have been struggling for the past 8 months. My husband and I learn things and handle things differently. I am feeling overwhelmed and defeated!! That is why I am here. I want to keep my focus on God and what he wants for me. I truly do not have many friends. I disconnected with all of the worldly people that were my "friends" before.
I'm not sure where exactly I should share my story. Haven't figured everything out on here yet. I look forward to all that God has in store for me here. Thank you all for listening.

Hi Angelique and welcome to Oasis! *BigGrin*

You are in the right place. I dont believe God does anything by accident..and you were led here to Oasis by Him to find some healing, peace and restoration.

There are many many studies here that are Holy Spirit inspired. I cant tell you how many lives Ive seen changed in the few years Ive been coming to this site. The Lord is alive and well here.

One you may consider is the COOL Counceling steps. It is a 14 day study that truly will bring Truth and healing to your heart and soul.

Dear Angelique:Yes trials are rough and most of the time we don't even know why.
Some months ago a Muslim was saved in our chapel. His family is,under Islamic Law,required to kill him.He was an inspiration to me-willing to forsake everything for Jesus
Why the Trials that you have to go through? No one knows and you probably dont know yourself-Job did not know why he had to go through what he did until it was over-there is light at the end of the tunnel.Buck and Alleydog

Hello Angelique,
There is a reason why people go through things but always remember whatever problem is over your head it's ALWAYS below the feet of God. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6. *Pray* and *ReadBible* and he will direct your path. God bless and take care.
