my encourager, my trustee, my friend, ... my husband
i just got the most amazing email from my husband, (and he hates computers, and typing) (he works nights, so he sent it late last night, he knew i'd be in bed, so that i'd receive it first thing this morning) ...he's climbing the ladder at work again ... and he's asked me to hold him accountable to not let him be consummed with work (this happened the last time he climbed the ladder to the position of vice-president).... that our children are fine and he believes that it is so important that the foundation of the family, our marriage, is nutured and taken care of, .... and to please set up date nights for us!!
.... what a guy, i love him so much, i would do anything for him.
what i've learned: the less talk, the more he's wanting to talk.
what i've learned: the more i ask his advice the more he wants mine.
what i've learned: the more i don't share my opinion when we disagree, the more he is seeking mine.
i love the blessings of the Lord for obedience to His Word ....
~~~
soooo, i'm gonna push it a little further .... the laws of Lord ... and this 'walking on water' faith....
we are in the midst of a catch 22 situation and we've both got solutions (of course mine's right) and (of course his is right) ....i'm gonna walk with my eyes of the supernatural and not my eyes of the natural, and trust Him ... and him ... AND
i WILL do it with joy !!! i will insist on joy whether it works my or his way; i will continue to base jump for the LORD.
CHECK THIS OUT .... i just walked over to the coffee table to got my binder that i keep all my notes in, when i study subjects for the Lord ... and you know how there are brand names on the binder's .... HAHA ... i just noticed the one on my binder ... it says "JUMP" ... how kewl is that, i bought this last year because my old binder was getting too skinny for the notes LOL.
~~~
consider it wholly joyful my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.
be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.
but let endurence and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.
James 1:2-4
tell me, isn't there a song that talks about letting it rain in your life if rain is what it takes to glorify God?
i say let it rain!
