[Angel of Hope]

I just done step 2 in the Spirit of Truth. I am ashamed to say I never gave the Holy Spirit the same thoughts as I did God and Jesus His Son.. To think the Holy Spirit needs to be talked to and we are suppose to listen to Him in a quite place, since He will answer softly in our minds and hearts if we are willing to listen. I am soo excited to know He dwells inside each true believer who welcomes him. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Friend, Guide, Consious, and soo many other things, He will be with us always until the end, if we don't do anything to make Him leave us. I am still trying to get use to all the Holy Spirit is to a Christian. He is our Strength, Power etc. This may be alot reasons my prayer life hasn't been right in alot ways. He even talks for us to God when we are unable to say anything, since He knows our heart and mind. We need to talk to Him daily as we do God the Father and His Son Jesus.When Jesus ascended to Heaven He told the disciples that He needed to leave, so the Comforter could come to all believers and lead them into all the Truths about God and the Son and help us remember what Jesus taught us while He was on earth. I feel so blessed and happy to be learning so much I didn't understand about the Holy Spirit. I am blessed to have been lead to this site and the wonderful kind and understanding people I have met in chat, especially the church and retreat rooms. I will surely need God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in my life daily since I am going through so many trials at the moment.. facing cancer surgery and treatment.. along with all the other health problems I ready had for years. It is like a new world opening up to me that I didnt completly understand.. so sad to go all these years not knowing all the truths or understanding . I have alot to learn. Thank you God for Jesus my Saviour and Your Holy Spirit. God Bless All.

I am so excited for you that you are getting to know The Holy Spirit. I can honestly say, that getting to know Him changed my life, and as the song goes "What He's done for others, He'll do for you."

I, too, was a late bloomer in getting to know The Holy Spirit, but have since found out, He knew, right along with God The Father and God The Son, Blessed Jesus, the plans He had for me and when our relationship would blossom.

Hang on to your hat, AngelofHope, it is a wild, blissful and blessed ride with The Lord.
