Anything similar for the guys?

Postby DicipleofJesus » Sun Jun 11, 2017 2:41 pm

You have a forum for ladies who have been victims of rape and/or sexual abuse, "They took when I wasn't giving". so that the ladies may have privacy when discussing their pain. Is there anything for the men here? I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. It took more then my childhood from me. It took away my adult years as well by giving me excessive nervousness and anxiety. I have survived it all, myself. But maybe there are men here who haven't really recovered from it . Is there anything for the guys, who are afraid even to talk about it because for many it would, in their eyes make them less then real men. I will close this post by telling both, men and women who have been abused that you are as pure, as innocent and as beautiful today as you were before being abused sexually. This is a genuine truth. You did nothing to deserve being sexually abused and you are guilty of none of it. You are innocent. No matter what your mind, Satan or whatever else is telling you. So is there anything for the guys to deal with their sexual abuse issues as there is for the ladies?

Thank you for writing. It is a good question. I'm sorry for what happened to you. Praise God for your healing.

You may write Christianityoasis of Phantomfaith directly with your question.

Hi DicipleofJesus,

At this time there is not a forum for men only, but I find it to be a great idea. I believe all victims of abuse need healing and place of safety to share....men and women. Christianity Oasis should be online soon. He will review this request I am sure, and see what can be done.

Take care and God Bless you for caring about others. I can already tell you are going to be a blessing here at the Oasis.

Hello again,

After researching this more ... It has become clear that it is best not to create another gender specific forum. The main reason is that any new guest that puts the incorrect gender when they register (whether by accident or otherwise) could result in the incorrect gender having access to gender specific rooms. My concern is that a child or teen putting the wrong answer while registering could result in them reading something that they should not be.

Therefore ... We will not be creating another gender specific forum and in fact will be removing the existing one for the reason explained and because few to none of our members or guests have been posting within the female specific forum anyway .

There is always private message and chat room options for privacy.

Take good care and have a SON-derful day folks.

Luv ya's

Is there anything in the female group that you would not want teen boys reading? What if a teen boy clicks on female instead of male by accident and sees the content in the above named female forum? There might not be a lot. But is there enough to warrant this consideration? This is just a question based out of curiousity. I'm sure you would agree that people of both genders could click on the gender that is not theirs by accident. And if a boy does it, he gets access to the female forum mentionned above. Something you said you did not want to have happen.

Hi DicipleofJesus, Christianity Oasis has removed the women's forum for that reason.

Take care
