Why can't I copy/paste scripture into the room?

Yes it is you! You broke the copy paste ability!
When the new chat room was created one of the bugs was anyone with a ber in their name wouldn't be able to copy paste.

I've not tried copy paste but I've been told by others it's not working for them either.

I have been able to copy and paste. I use CTRL + C and CTRL + V and it works well. Have you tried this kimberly?

i was able to copy and paste the way mlg suggested....from the Bible Search feature...try that Kimmy.

I was also having a hard time when i tried pasting a verse into chat..

i later found out that it was because i was trying to paste too much at a time,
so i pasted less and it worked

i'm guessing there's a limit for the amount of characters we're allowed to paste to avoid spamming ?

Yes I had a similar problem Saturday Night. It was kind of random with when it allowed me to paste and when it didn't.

It was during a program and it totally bummed me out as I spent the entire afternoon working on it. but in reading some of the replies here, I am guessing the messages I was trying to post were to long.

I am going to go into a quiet room and practice... perhaps I'll have more luck now. Yet again. proof I talk to much

Skrubby, why would I want to copy the things I say in chat? They are better off as history, LOL.

yep jiffy is right, there is a character limit. We just increased it though so this should help.

The limit is 7 lines per message in the chat room.

The copy/paste works like mlg said with keyboard shortcuts but it also works with the mouse too. The reason it wasnt taking is that if you have to much text to paste it wont even show up.

Try it out Kip and you will get the general idea of how much will work

To give u an idea this is many worked for me just now in chat
