Glimpses of the Path Ahead
As I stumble along the path of life, there are many branches off the path and there are many lessons learned.
Life has a way of wounding the heart. Times when I feel like my heart has literally, physically broken in two; when I feel as if a part of my very essence has died.
Jesus cleanses those wounds, and so I continue on my path.
Further along the path I see glimpses of the things to be. Some are good, some are bad. And still I learn and grow in wisdom. But even wisdom can be a scary thing., What if I don't like the things I see?
Sometimes the path is dark and dreay, full of danger and pain. Sometimes the path is filled with such wonderous beauty and peace that I am just in awe of God. And I have to believe my true path is yet to be.
And so I continue the battle between the paths. The path between my heart and head. The path between good and bad. The path between pain and peace.
Herein my question lies- In the end; when it matters most; which path will it be?
