Where Have You Gone My America

I hear America dying.
I hear its last gasp as it falls limp to the floor.
Rolls and rolls of fat
Made the stabbing quite hard.
Its last bead of greasy sweat
Moves lazily across its face.
The blood, the river of red,
Flows endlessly on.
I heard its last words, just a string of
cussing.
A fitting end to such an ugly monstrosity
Once hidden behind a fake mask,
Of hope, of dreams, of freedom,
Now it can be plainly seen
Rotten teeth, stinking breath, filthy hands,
And bugs seem to emanate from it
And who am I you may ask?
The one who finally put an end,
To the monstrosity, who should have died
long ago
I am the lost, the forgotten
I am the dreams,
Abandoned for reality
I am happiness.
I hear its last gasp as it falls limp to the floor.
Rolls and rolls of fat
Made the stabbing quite hard.
Its last bead of greasy sweat
Moves lazily across its face.
The blood, the river of red,
Flows endlessly on.
I heard its last words, just a string of
cussing.
A fitting end to such an ugly monstrosity
Once hidden behind a fake mask,
Of hope, of dreams, of freedom,
Now it can be plainly seen
Rotten teeth, stinking breath, filthy hands,
And bugs seem to emanate from it
And who am I you may ask?
The one who finally put an end,
To the monstrosity, who should have died
long ago
I am the lost, the forgotten
I am the dreams,
Abandoned for reality
I am happiness.
