BeautyBeast
Greatest to the least
God is the Beauty I am the beast
The King sends his servent's love letter invites me to his table
I return excuses covering my face in shame unable
Not a light in my cave a place I stay
My soul dim a grave scares many away
The King sends again more of his faithful noble men
Long live the Kings beckons of you once more and again
The shame of my name to say the least
the hunger pains gave way and Yes I said to the feast
Fear and dread on the path of all I would see
As I would behold His Royal Majesty
what would He think of me
Grieving regret of leaving my place
as glanced away from the jesters mocking face
all eyes sore looking at me
pointing unbecommingly
Down this way they would say right down the hall
I was left alone to walk in my soul and skin crawled
To late to turn around
Castle on the lock down
As I approached the open door
I heard foot steps on the floor
To afraid to look up a warm voice said
Welcome, that eased my dread
Please sit and eat and drink of this new wine
Trembling I took and ate as I did something changed in time
The more I ate of the Master's table
The hunger fleeted but looking up unable.
His presence on my mind distracted me
Something in that moment I didn't see
His words soothing and oh so kind
for once my looks He didnt mind
He gets up approaching with his hand out asking me
Would you like this dance, yes I said quietly
As we embraced
I looked into his face
Amazed I behold
light in his eyes more to be told
I studder, I to need leave as He said WAIT, there's something you need to see
He held a mirror in front of me
Shame dug deep due to my name the Beast
the decay of mortal nature I am the least
Look again He said wiping my tears dry
Reluctantly I gave it one more try
I couldn't believe who is in that window so clear
He said, that beauty is you He said with cheer
But how can it be this happened to me?
He pointed back to his Table
