Do you hear me
This night?
This night do you feel my pain
Do you understand my darkness
My shameful secrets
That I want locked away in the ocean
Never seen?
But then
But then
Fear is holding me back
Love
I want love
Compassion
Understanding
They may understand
They may not judge
They may accept and not reject
Me
But I fear
I want to be accepted
But I need to be brave
I need to be strong
What else are friends for
But to tell your dark secrets to
And receive love and acceptance
And understanding?
