Got kicked out of school, on the fast track to nowhere
Out on the streets, it’s too much for you to bear

Thought you had it all when you were younger
Thought money was enough, but now love is what you hunger

Messed up badly, can’t find your way back
Got lost on the way, fell off the track

Can’t see a way forward, got stuck in a hole
Not about the outside, but your spiritual soul

Jesus died on a cross, not to make things trouble-free
But to take away the burden of sin, he paid the fee
Died brutally and painfully, for you and for me
Suddenly things change; there is someone new you can be

You’re no longer stuck because you’re a new creation
Because you’ve got a relationship with God and your salvation

Even if things are hard, you’ve got another life promised
One given through grace, not because you deserve it
Got a second chance, so make the most of it
