Love happened to us
As we entered god's
Paradise and swept
Behind us the old world
The only world we had
Ever known and gave us
A new life, with feeling
Colors and sounds.
Ever growing
Ever changing
Even some rearranging
Our hearts were struck
With the fire of His Love.
And we held each other
We discovered the burning
Given by him above
And we were amazed,
We marveled at this gift
As we've held hands
Day by day and each
Day we opened our gift
It always gave us
Something more.
Something we'd never
Known before and it's
Everlasting.
