In My Eyes

Beautifully human
Always full of flaws
Yet My child, you're amazing
And destined for great things
You might act evil
And selfish and proud
Yet My child, you're a saint
For My Son accepted you
And He's not letting go
Not now and not ever
Wonderfully wrong
Amazingly arrogant
Yet My child, you're just free-willed
And overall kind
You might act merciless
And stupid and mean
Yet My child, I choose you
To spread My word
And share My love
With all of the world
I've seen the good deeds
And the evil ones too
One day, you are humble
But the next, you are proud
Always blissfully unaware
I'm watching everything you do
One day, full of hatred
But the next, unfailing love
Thankfully Mine, forever more
This poem means a lot to me because God wrote it to me.
