The Ship

Postby Praiseus_Maximus » Sun Aug 28, 2011 7:16 pm

A captain stands before his crew
The ship is sinking, you know what to do
Start pumping water and start filling holes
We can save this ship but we must take control

Everyone is quick to speak up and agree
But as I look around that's all I see
Why isn't anyone manning the pumps?
And we wonder why people are starting to jump

Why isn't anyone plugging tho holes?
Aren't we concerned about drowning souls?
Does anyone else understand what I'm thinking?
How can we save anyone if our ship is sinking

Ignoring the problem while we shout and dance
We can still fix fix this. We still have a chance.
In our apathy, will we let people drown?
We need to act now before the ship goes down
Lead, Follow, or get out of the way

I wanted to see what others would share, so I hesitated in responding ...

Absolutely awesome post ...

TRUTH is TRUTH

Thanks for sharing this.

Cool thing is ... God is in control and will influence whom He will to do their part in every ship. Unless, HE chooses for it to sink.

This Ministry will continue to trust in the ONLY Captain for EVER.

May God's all knowing will ... Be done.

Luv ya bro
Jesus is coming ... Get your soul prepared.

The greatest commandment is to love one another. To even die for the one you love.
When Jesus was arrested we saw many of the disciples scatter, fear had overcome them. Even Peter who told Jesus he wouldnt denied him, When the time came out of fear he said he was not with him.
In the last days, we might have to pick between Jesus and the antichrist, and many christians choosing Jesus will be put to death. (better to die in the flesh than to die in the spirit)
May the lord give us courage and strength to overcome fear.
May the lord give us guidance to help and save others, for letting them drown like in the ship is turning your back on Christ.
To work together we will overcome whatever battle is before us. If all the men got together and tried to stop the ship from sinking. What would the outcome be. The men that jumped, and thought they were saving their souls, they were jumping into there own death. They would have drowned or got eaten by sharks.
To shine in one light.

This poem has something a person can visualize and almost touch but the reality of it's truthfulness is almost chilling because it applies not only to individuals but to churches and nations and even to the world. Only the Spirit could put so much into so few words.
