What did I do?

Here we go again
step out only to be burned.
Tormented in Pain
in a body once facing the right way, turned.
Why am I here?
I feel so unwelcome,
should I just disappear?
Or possibly overcome?
In confusion my mind shifts
between a blade
and the ever increasing gifts.
What if I really could Trade
it all for a life of bliss,
but really wouldn't I only be living in ignorance?
