As I held the folder in my hand, the tears began to fall
Of every word i ever spoke, not just some but all
I went through all the good things i had said, but still many pages remained
Of all the bad things i had said, in anger, frustration or pain
All my thoughts and actions were all recorded too
Many wrong things i had done, but of sharing the gospel there were few
As i stared at the pages that never seemed to end
I remembered back to the days of the message i always wanted to send
but was always too afraid of what they thought, to share it wit my friends
As i watched a man came in and took the paper from my hand
He was beautiful in shining glory, everything about him was grand
I watched in tears as my Jesus signed his name in blood across them all
I stared awestruck as i watched his race and mercy fall
upon my oage and wipe it clean, till it shone white as snow
"Jesus, jesus why would you do this" He said "do you not know?"
I was there through every tear, and i paid the price for you.
I shed my blood upon a cross and i did it all for you.
I have given you a chance to start again, i have made you clean and new
now what you do with that my friend, that is up to you."
