Oh my goodness, Lizzie...$110.00, like one-hundred, ten dollars???
oh geez. Don't buy it if it is that expensive.
You can order it online at Walmart for $7.50. Don't know what the shipping would be, but I doubt it would be $100.00.
Let me know Lizzie.
God bless you.
Love,
Mack

OK.... LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Read it twice now!!!!!!
A friend suggested it, simply said, "Read it, and know, when you do, You will want EVERYONE you know to read it also" SO TRUE!!
If you haven't read it yet.... Please consider doing so.
Like anything in life, ya go through some crud (the first 89 pages or so), still a good read but kind of crummy.. and there are a few curve balls for fun... but page 90 or so... WOW!!!!!
Read it!!! That is all I can say!
Gotta love "Papa"!!!
Thanks for posting about it, Spicegrl!!!
Peace and Love in Christ,
Lani
PS Lizzie, thanks for clarifying.. I nearly fell over when I read $110!!
Luv Y'all

I really enjoyed this book, and I have two copies of it, both given to me, and I've been sharing them now that I've read it with others. A great way to witness to lost souls...

Hello
Well I was giving this book also and read it thoroughly. But my opinion differs as I did not like this book at all and frankly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I know everyone can have their opinion and that it may differ, that's ok we are all different. But my reason is first of all the last thing I really want to read about is more tragic stories as that is happening all over the world to many. I know it's a reality and one can't escape or deny that tragedies, persecution are going on today all over the world. I also don't like to read stories that are fiction, I'd rather read true stories and accounts of peoples lives of how God has brought them through, healed them etc. The vivid descriptions/ details were frankly more than I would like to hear, such crimes are horrible and we can read about them in the newspaper everyday. I also think that for some people stories of this nature re: the kidnapping, can promote fear in their hearts when they read about such tragedies and loss especially if they have already suffered a loss in their lives. Now I also understand that the story is about a man's journey to healing and forgiveness and how this healing came about, not just about the kidnapping and murder of his daughter.
Recently in Ontario a young girl was kidnapped and murdered, the parents are now having to deal with this tragedy, when they so hoped for their daughters return.
Oh how we need to pray God's protection over these young lives from the enemies devices against them, also for the parents that they might come to know the Lord and His healing in their lives.
Anyway that's just a short account of what I think as I do have some other issues about it. I know this book was a big hit and seem to sell out in the stores, they had a hard time keeping it in stock. But for me it's just not my cup of tea.
Sorry don't mean to disappoint anyone elses point of view on it.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Ps 46:1

Changed I don't think anyone is disappointed in your point of view. I think you shared reasons that you disliked the book, and that is good, because it lets others who might want to read it know that some like the book and some don't. Thanx for sharing your thoughts sis.
luv ya
