Unto You a Heart That is Pure

Unto You A Heart That Is Pure
Like a desert flower you are to me
A diamond in a wilderness forsaken
If you call my name
Countless paths I will need to be taken
To the ends of the earth I will travel
Until the sun darkens and the moons red
I will beckon your call
As if by some mystic force I'm led
If you are stranded in hell
And Lucifer tortures you with pain
I will go there for you
And if I need to, back again
I will carry you up
From the fiery bowels of earth
I will only stop to let you down
On green and grassy turf
I will harken to your crying plea
If gusty winds blow you asunder
If you're lost in a forest
Or storms begin to roll and thunder
On a pleasant day I'll be at your side
When the suns rays warm the earth
And the finches sing their morning call
As a beautiful morning is again at birth
But countless have told you these
And by this I know I'm sure
There is one that marks me apart
That is unto you a heart that is pure
Like a desert flower you are to me
A diamond in a wilderness forsaken
If you call my name
Countless paths I will need to be taken
To the ends of the earth I will travel
Until the sun darkens and the moons red
I will beckon your call
As if by some mystic force I'm led
If you are stranded in hell
And Lucifer tortures you with pain
I will go there for you
And if I need to, back again
I will carry you up
From the fiery bowels of earth
I will only stop to let you down
On green and grassy turf
I will harken to your crying plea
If gusty winds blow you asunder
If you're lost in a forest
Or storms begin to roll and thunder
On a pleasant day I'll be at your side
When the suns rays warm the earth
And the finches sing their morning call
As a beautiful morning is again at birth
