Hello Notforgotten, Mlg, and Everyone :)

God bless you this day.

I'm with Mlg -- I don't know either. In re-reading the Book of Esther, I still do not find an answer.
I do know that in Chapter 2, verse 10 that Mordecai tells her not to reveal the fact that she is a Jew, but I don't remember any mention of jewelry, and then later he tells her to tell the King that she is a Jew (see Chapter 4), but again...no mention of jewelry or any other proof.

You've stumped me on this one, Notforgotten, and now I'm soooooooooooo curious and anxious to know the answer. I love this.

God bless and keep you,
Mack

I am now really stumped. I reread all of Esther too. The only thing I see she put on was the royal robes. Am I looking in the wrong book of the Bible?
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

I am sorry. You two are right. There was no necklace that Queen Esther had twirled around near a candle showing the king the star of David and that she was a Jew. It was in a movie that I saw and is not in the Bible. I do apologize. Will one of you please take it from here and ask the next question. Thank you.

Hi notforgotten, well I have to tell ya my memory on Esther needed brushing up on, and you convinced me to reread the entire book....so I must say I'm not at all disappointed by your question.

I'll ask the next question.

Who was in the fiery furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego?

Hello Mlg, Notforgotten and Everyone :)

God bless you this day.

Firstly, I would like to address the previous topic of Esther. This was the perfect time for such to occur, because of the season, there will be many movies depicting events of the Bible in which the producers and directors have taken creative liberties. It is not unusual for characters to be morphed into one, and/or events to have been greatly exaggerated or made up completely, leaving the viewers believing falsehoods. A wonderful reminder to all of us to check it with the written Word of God. The Holy Spirit will continue to guide us into all Truth. Hallelujah!!!

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were in a fiery furnace with what appeared to be the Son of God. :) *JesusSign*
Jesus is God in the flesh. Read about it in Chapter 3 of the Book of Daniel. *ReadBible*

Silly side note: Wonder why the word fiery is spelled that way, instead of "firey"? *Doh*

Question: According to The Bible, How many Wise Men followed Jesus' star to Bethlehem -- the place of His birth?

God bless you, all,

Mack you have asked a very interesting question. The Bible does not say an exact number. Interesting how you always here 3 wise men, based on the number of gifts, but the Bible doesn't say it was 3....it says the wise men were sent to see Jesus only. See Matthew Chapter 2 for more details.

Why was Jesus wrapped in swaddling cloth when He was born?

Swaddling clothes are placed around a new born child for their comfort and health.

"The angel who spoke to the shepherds on the hillside mentions swaddling clothes as part of the sign to the shepherds that they had found the Messiah."

Luke 2:12: This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

What were the three gifts given to Jesus at His birth?

gold, frankincense and myrrh

How many years does the Bible say our days may be if our strength endures?

70 or 80 years.

Psalm 90:10. Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.

Fill in the blank.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will ______________.

Hello Notforgotten and Everyone :)

God bless you this day.

Answer: give you rest. Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

According to The Bible, what did Jesus tell His followers about The Holy Spirit while He still walked the earth -- before He was crucified on the cross?

He told them He would pray the Father would bring them a comforter.

John 14
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

On what side of God did Jesus sit down after he purged us of our sins?
