Coffee Lovers

Postby lizzie » Sun Aug 08, 2010 1:06 pm

I love coffee!

ok that being said, how do you have your coffee?

This is how i prep mine

1 cup of skimmed milk
1 tsp nescafe instant (yes i use instant, shoot me)
3 tsp brown sugar
2 blocks of hersheys dark milk chocolate

Now u gotta really steam the milk first, then throw in the chocolate and stir it till it melts. Heaven in a cup I tell ya.

Oh and this can totally be chilled.

I think i fainted with joy midway thru this post...

uhhh that coffee of yours must be something :-)

I cook "turkish" which I prefere more than expresso for home use..so it is like this:

I boil water first and then put 2-3 tea spoons of coffee powder with lots of sugar!!

It is strong as poison :) and if you have low blood preassure this will raise it for sure :)

Hello Lizzie and Everyone :)

Lizzie, you are so cute, and even your coffee is cute.

I drink regular brewed coffee -- not too strong, not too weak (sorta like Mama Bear's bed...not too soft and not too hard...just right). Per 12oz coffee mug of brewed coffee I add 2 teaspoon of sugars and some half 'n half (probably equivalent to 1 or 2 Tablespoons. Note: Half 'n Half is a mixture of part skim milk and part cream.

God bless you.
Love,
Mack

I've really enjoyed this post. :)

My son makes "cowboy coffee" 1/2 milk, 1/2 coffee, and some sugar. I put a teaspoon in when I make it for him but when he makes it I am certain he uses half a sugar bowl. :)

Well gee my favorite coffee is just plain old Folgers in a cup. Teaspoon of sugar, but now I use stevia which is good for you and doesn't cause cancer but won't raise my sugar levels. I prefer the good old unhealthy white sugar but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. :(

So anyhow like momma bear, not to strong but surely not weak.

*dunno* We learned it from some friends from Texas. I'd think Texans would know about cowboy stuff but perhaps they don't. *Whistle*

Let's google it. :)

"Cowboy coffee is coffee brewed in a standard cooking pot without special equipment or filters; because of this simplicity it is often made by campers. It is the most usual method of coffee preparation in Finland and similar to Turkish coffee in style and preparation."

Well perhaps my friends meant Dallas Cowboys coffee. Maybe the Dallas Cowboys have to have 1/2 milk in their coffee. More like flavored milk. I don't know.
