Born to a mother who was a teenager
And a father who to me became a stranger
Lacked self confidence, attained low self esteem
Having a relationship with my father was always my dream

However, unfortunately my hope in that was shattered
When my desperate efforts to make this possible never mattered
Needless to say that this was totally devastating for a little girl
Who wanted to be the center of her father's world

But here comes this man, with this smile on his face
He said if you let me

this one made me smile, sis. had the same kinda earthly dad....but, oh, what a true Father, the fatherless have.
