What you think will matter
The things you hope will last
Are watered by the future
And buried in the past

Closed vessels tightly emptied
Dust poured out like rain
Swallowed in futility
Choked blindly down with pain

Empty handfuls opened
Long lost memories found
Screaming for significance
Without making a sound

Words long forgotten
Live wild and free today
Choices spoken silently
Mean more than what they say

I want you to be wonderful
Sleep is often heartache free
Dreams are more than blankets
To cover insanity

I won't be a shadow
Wrong succumbs to right
Evil shrinks in horror
When confronted by the Light

Crying smiles hide dried up tears
Shut open walls and gates
Healed wounds hide broken hearts
While forgiveness swallows hate

Answers are quest ridden
Truth is not a lie
Paths through unforged places
Lead to open sky

Spirit bound for glory
Song sang in sweet accord
Wings of eagles open
Where none have dared to soar

Thoughtless thoughts are mindless
Praise blooms like a flower
Grace pours down like thunder
And might is a strong tower

There was a beginning
and there will be an end
He who is coming
Will be the one to send

An angel's tear foreshadows
Joy unbridled loose
Living waters saturate
Deserts soaked with truth

Hold fast to what you must let go
throw away what you must hold
Buy what is not for sell
Desire treasure that's not gold

Ages will wander
Time will die true tell
Death and hate and worthlessness
Will be thrown straight into Hell

Sing an unheard song
Drink blood red wine that's new
Forgiven or Forsaken
No one knows but Him and you...
