Divorce

Postby Angelbaby5460 » Wed Jan 09, 2008 4:21 am

This is a poem that I wrote when my parents were going through their divorce.

Divorce

They want to do whats best for the children
But what they dont know is that this divorce is hurting them the most
Seperating from both mother and father
Its almost as if they dont have a heart
This divorce is tearing the apart
Beginning to wonder if this was smart
Children feeling like they are being thrown around like a dart
Hoping they wont have to go to court
Where their loving would get stuck with child support
This the children would and will not support
They love both their mother and father the same
And think that this whole thing is insane
But they do not wish to talk or explain
How much they hurt and are in pain
Feel like their whole life is beginning to go down the drain
As their minds bring them back down memory lane
But who cares, right everyone always proclaims no pain, no gain
This whole thing must be inhumane

That's a good analogy Moon.
I know divorce can really hurt a kid.
I've heard it you want a divorce and you give your marriage 4 yrs. 90% will be glad they didn't divorce. I'm one of that 90% :)
I know some people have to cause of abuse and what not. And I'm not judging. I only walk in my shoes. So I shouldn't judge someone elses walk.
This is a good place to get out those feeling of hurt and anger, confusion if you've gone through one, or your parents have and a poem is a great way of releasing those emotions. In my opinion.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Moonlight is right divorce tears everyone apart.

Jesus Never meant for there to ever be divorce. He said, "For the hardness of your hearts!" when he was asked about it.

Like Moonlight said, "God said what is Joined let no man part"

Jesus meant for us to get marriage right the first time(yeah, seems like a only a dream? But it was what he had planed) but because of sin, (sadly for everyone involved) not always does it work out that way...

But God can glue those peices back together. Like he said, "Ask, and you shall recieve..." You can have it if you really want it, if you ask, and believe that because God said,

"And by his strips you were healed."
You'll receive healing(because, God is not a man that he should lie. All you need is the faith, even as small as a musturd seed).

Love you,
unshakeable
