I really like Casting Crowns because their songs, I think, speak from the heart. We're Christians right? Through these songs, I'm reminded of the fact that Jesus said that we should be the light of the world. Jesus said that we should be the salt of the earth, and He even asks us, what is salt if it loses its saltiness? There are people in need, and I have seen for myself that when we're just willing to put ourselves in God's disposal that He will help us do His will, which is to help those who are hurting the most. I truly believe that everything happens because these are the stepping stones... Bad things happen, and when the enemy wants to just step on us and hurt us, God turns everything bad that has happened to us and He turns it all around. He makes everything work towards His perfect will...and yet again words fail me. Sometimes I'm just comforted by the fact that God can see just through me and that words are needless between me and Him. Words have their place, but sometimes I'm satisfied in abiding in His love, and in silence. This song, "Does Anybody Hear Her" reminds us that there may be someone right next to us going through a storm that we can't fathom, and we don't have to have all the answer. Sometimes, a smile, a laugh, a joke even, can make all the difference in the world. A smile can expresses so much without using a single word.
